Donations go towards more and different trail tools, SMBA fundraising merchandise and professional trail planning.
We also need money for trail tools, schwag, socks, shirts, water bottles, website, etc.
We are an organized board with president and local volunteers that are passionate about cycling. The group meets regularly to advocate on the cycling community’s behalf. Not so glamorous, but extremely important are the countless meetings that take place between Forest Service, BLM, town, county, etc… that we attend to make sure cycling stays at the forefront of the conversation. We write letters of support and show up in person at meetings to make our voices heard on important issues in the cycling community. Creating proposed trail maps providing future goals to work towards. Examples of trails in the planning phase are: Turkey Creek/Prospect Basin Trail, Weibe bike route, etc…
